Curufin Study

closeup on curufin and his horse, as will be featured in a painting I'm planning depicting the scene where the sons of feanor attack beren and luthien in the woods. while celegorm is the major aggressor in the scene (he's the one who wants to have luthien for himself, and is the one who attempts to ride down beren) curufin is there as his backman, and is seen here coming up slower. he holds his spear and the reigns both in his left hand, presumably as he is about to scoop up luthien with his right.

I'm rather proud of that horse's face armor featuring the star of feanor. I'll have to do some closeups
