Smaug

I always imagined smaug as a real rooster among his species, a big, plumed male, with a high fanning crest and tendriled lizard-beard. after a few designs which featured a narrower, more bird like skull, i went with something that fattened out at the back to this broad crocodilian grin supported by a bulging, frilled gullet.
